Most recycle centers have collection tanks. They turn it into bio diesel. As for putting it on you garden . Don't it will kill the microbes working to compost your litter lawyer. Unless you want a $10,000 sewer rebuild. DON"T pour it down the drain. This will clog you pipes,stop the bacteria from growing in your septic tank and kill your leach field. This goes for you municipalities as well. It makes life really miserable for the sewage operators. It cost you in the ling run in sewage fee.

It's your perfect opportunity to make biofuel. Strain it through a panty hose to get out any fried chicken bits. Then pour it through a funnel into your oil tank.

1 year old? You should change your cooking oil regularly! You put it in an old coke bottle & place in the trash can, that is if your local authority disposes of things that way. NEVER put it down the drain.
