I can think of no reason why you should choose any of them.

The idea of a creation -- an absolute starting point for the universe from the point of view of existence -- is a uniquely Christian idea. No other religion came up with the idea. All other religions (if they even discuss this point) believe in an eternal universe. (note: Some in Judaism and Islam believe in a created universe like Christianity, but they would have got the idea from Christianity).
So, if the universe has a starting point, then all other religions outside Christianity are wrong on this point. If all other religions are wrong on their idea of the creation of the universe -- then they are teaching something false. How can a religion be wrong on such a fundamental point -- and still be taken seriously as a true religion? It can't.
It is a dogma of the Catholic Church that the universe was created in time and out-of-nothing -- Fourth Lateran council in 1215 (pronounced as an official teaching almost 800 years ago).
Since science and philosophy show that the universe did have a starting point -- Christianity is proved correct on this point. This eliminates all other religions as possible true revealed religions that teach a eternal universe (and this means virtually all of them, except perhaps those that express no opinion on the creation of the universe).

i'm agnostic because I can't believe in god
that's not to say i would not love to believe in god
but you just know what you believe and what you don't
(not to be confused with atheists,...i can't stand those people)
i actually heard some religious guy on the radio say
i can't prove god exist and i may never know
but i choose to live as if he did
i thought, that was pretty cool
I really don't think you can just decide to believe in god
you do or you don't
you can try to and best of luck with that
the coolest thing about being in the position you're in right now is
you can now look into all types of religions
which turns out to be eye opening because you just might see that even though all of them pointfingers and criticize the others because of a few differences, overall they actually share a lot of things
that's the thing people seem not to do
they gotta sit down and write out like a list of 100things in general important about their religion
i bet they'll share a lot more
i like buddism a lot
it's just a good way of life
i recently have been checking out hindu stuff too
and a little bit of everything really
bahai faith is a good mix of everything, literally
you shouldn't choose anything especially religion by what anybody else is going to tell you
making your own decisions is important
and you can only do that well by learning about it all
--but dont listen to me, i cant decide for you. right

Its very simple to me, and please do not take this like I am tring to be rude, because I'm not.
But people today in society have so many problems so many agrevations that they can't deal with.
Christianity brings out the best in people. It is the most uplifting thing ever. If you become a christian and God knows that you truly love him and want him to know that you do, he will help you through everything.
As christians we believe in Heaven and Hell. Live your life as best you can being truly sorry for your sins and you will hopefully go to heaven. Heaven is what we refer to as ETERNAL LIFE... However, if you are careless and don't try to be a good person and the best person that you know you could be, we don't believe that you will go straight to hell.. But there is a much bigger possibility. Hell is what we refer to as ETERNAL DEATH AND PAIN.
I'm not one to judge. I am a hardcore Catholic and am good friends with an Atheist person and other people from several other religions..
My best advice to you, even if you don't go for praying and don't care about different things.. Go on a retreat. Find a Catholic Retreat, and just see what its like, if you don't like it thats fine, but just see, just see if it will change your life. We all have big problems in our life that we may not even be aware of, why not give this one last thing a try. No one will judge you. No one will criticize. The only thing that people might do is pray over you and for you.
Again, its just a choice. But its up to you to make the right one.

I do not believe in following religion. I follow Jesus. Religion does not save, Jesus saves.
It really depends on what you are wanting to achieve. If you want to go to heaven then Jesus is the truth and the way and the life, and no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him.
Dude pick the religion the makes you feel comfortable...
And the one the makes you have a strong connection with our God
The only religion that makes me feel like that...Is Christianity

One reason would be that you like fairy tales. Buddhism and Sikhism have a few but don't put much stock in them. Well... Buddhism at least.

Christians will say that they have the only true faith, that all the others are false faiths. Which is really arrogant if you consider that almost 4 billion people in the world aren't christians.
Read the bible, qu'ran, and hindu/buddhist scriptures and also read: the god delusion by richard dawkins.

Cause the Bible is historicaly correct and has been proven through centuries of documentation and buddha is dead and buried , and all other so called gods are gone and or dead and there ideas are either made up and cannot be proven...
The God of the bible , with the bible itself proves History by foretelling events past and present and future and has been proven correct and has not failed and the God of the Bible is Alive and risen not buried in the ground as others still are.......
And His Word is infalliable..and its been acqurit without fail !!
through history , science , archaeology , and other writings through the ages long before the other beliefs existed and even it speaks of their religieous dogma and warned of it through time...........
READ IT , you may be amazed at its TRUTHS

I can't say. I believe in Jesus but I don't have a religion. I think people should just pick the path that works for them. If Buddhism works for you than that's what works for you.

Most people don't believe in God because they would rather believe in false hopes. "Live for now because once its over, it's over."
I tell everybody this: Go get a black piece of cardboard paper and frame it. Now look at it and say: "This is what I get to look forward to when I die." If you can honestly say that then you don't need God, nor Buddha for that matter.

Jesus says "No one comes to the Father except through Me."
He is the Only Way.
if you are talking about Buddhism, Buddha did not even teach about God. Buddhism is about oneself, and the way of life. Buddha told his disciples to think for themselves, and that they need not follow him. Buddha said that he might be wrong too. Buddha was not buddha. He was King Gurthama.
another important difference between Christianity and other religions is that, we are saved (and granted eternal life in heaven) by grace, and not by works.
ALL religions teach that we can enter heaven by our own good works (yes even Islam), but Jesus taught us that unless we believe in Him, we shall die in our sins.
Ephesians 2:8 which states: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
if we can enter heaven by our good works, then God owes us something. but God does NOT owe us anything.
