Only had a relationship broken off by the other party once, and it was not nasty.
I did "dump" somebody once by showing up with a new girlfriend, but she had been telling people all sorts of things about the seriousness of our "relationship" that just were not so, and I didn't quite know what to do about it. Poor things was probably very lonely, but she just was making way more out of it than was there.
Years later she (pretty sure it was she) called my wife during the day, anonymously, and said that I was having an affair with her and in fact had just left her apartment. Very lucky for me I was working several hundred miles away, and called home very soon after the bogus call.
Hope she found somebody. Hope she grew up a little.

Well four months ago he calls me and says he is back from a weekend trip out of town. We talked briefly since he just got back in and then we called it a night and said goodbye. I'd called him a couple of days later... no answer. A few more days no answer or returned call so I got the hint that his way of dumping were ignoring me. Still to this day, I wonder why he even bothered calling me to let me know he made it back home when he knew all along we wasn't going to speak again. ******* coward.

I had a wife that took the car and $200 to get groceries.
She found a man instead.
I have raised the 2 kids by myself for the 8 years since.
post script: It was the best thing that could have ever happened, so make sure to remember your breakup may be a blessing instead of something bad ;)
...I didnt want to sound bitter..just answering the question :)

Aww... that's awful.
I was going out with this guy that I worked with (yeah, I know) for almost a year and out of the blue he told me he "needed some space" He said he needed to think about our relationship and the way he explained things, I fully expected him to tell me what his decision was after a while so I waited and left him alone.
On Valentine's Day, I walked past his office and there was a big bouquet of heart-shaped helium balloons in his office and I, like an idiot, thought he was going to give them to me and tell me he missed me and wanted us to be together. Nothing happened all day so when he wasn't in his office, I went in and looked at the card attached and they were to him from another woman.

That is bad. I would slash his tires.
The worst way I got dumped is by having my boyfriend ignore me. Since it was a long distance relationship I couldn't find him and tear him a new one. I could only leave some very nasty messages.

My ex boyfriend called me about 4 days before xmas after not calling for weeks and broke up with me and told me he wanted to persue a relationship with a guy he was now living with. 2 months later I find out via my best friend that he is dating her. we are no longer friends and he is on block in my life, phone and computer.

Back when I was near your age, I had a girl and we were pretty serious. Or at least I thought so until I went on a vacation with my family (parents and brothers). She told me not to go or she wouldn't be there when I got back. I couldn't cancel, and she did. Never saw her again after that.

I've never been dumped,
but the worse thing I ever did was,
I left him a note on his motorcycle,
that just said, "Bye!".
I taped it to his gas tank with duct tape.
We had been living together for
almost 2 years & I wanted out
of the relationship, but he didn't.
So I left him this note.
I surprised all my friends,
his friends were in total shock,
my family couldn't believe,
I had gone to this extreme.
I enjoyed every minute of it.
