Just from my own experience, there are times when I've had that thought just out of the blue too. I'm having a good day and then one little thing will happen and though I'm having a good day my subconscious is not.

So it'll just through crap at me to keep me on my toes. And I'll be like "where did that come from" and nothing comes to mind and I can't figure it out. So I just came up with that conclusion.

Here are some good ideas:
1. Do something that gets your heart rate up a bit like, walking, running, biking, and swimming.
2. Eat Whole, Organic foods like: Broccoli, Cabbage, Organic Brown Rice, Beans, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Apples, and other fruits and vegetables in their Natural State.
3. Avoid eating corn, white bread, white rice, white potatoes, candy, sodas, chips, and anything else that you already know you shouldn’t be eating.
4. Drink clean water as your beverage of choice. Avoid Fruit drinks and fruit juices (unless YOU juice them yourself)
5. Stop smoking, drinking beer & wine, and drinking coffee.
6. Get 8 hours of sleep each night.
7. Hang out with people who want to be healthy.
8. Avoid anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup.

Tone up the muscles:

1. Join a gym and get a trainer.
2. If you’re short on cash, start a light stretching & yoga regimen.
3. Do push-ups, and light dumbbell curls for the upper body.
4. As I said above, walk, run, swim, and or bike
5. Take an aerobics class, a yoga class, or some other fitness class.
6. Join the local YMCA..
7. Buy or borrow this book by Bill Pearl called GETTING STRONGER.
In the book, he describes everything you need for a great fitness plan.

Mental Health:

1. Get a friend to talk to each day about your feelings.
2. If you have some money or insurance, get a counselor to talk to.
3. Learn how to meditate.
4. Join a support group for the issue you’re dealing with.
5. Ask your Higher Self (or God) for guidance.
6. Start keeping a diary or journal about your feelings & thoughts.
7. Write a ‘gratitude’ list every night.
8. Do something that makes you happy each day like: listen to your favorite music, draw, paint, write, or anything creative.
9. Do something for someone else who needs help.
10. If the above suggestions don't improve your mental health, talk with your therapist about the possibility of taking some medication.

Take care of yourself

Oh my there could be many reasons for it. One theory is that if there was a traumatic or unhappy event in your life, you will get depressed at that time every year with what seems to be without reason. It is a cycle and until you understand what it is, it will continue to happen on schedule every year. It is possible you are breaking one of the rules of happy living as listed in scripture to "Not let the sun go down on your wrath". In other words, don't store things up until you explode, deal with situations and people on a day to day basis and in an honest, but, kind way. After all anger is sadness turned inside out. If you are the happy, cheerful type that tries to keep everyone upbeat, that can be a bit wearing. It is good to be kind and loving but ultimately each person is responsible for how they choose to deal with their environment. Also, if you are a blessing to those around you Satan hates that and will try to bring you down with those suicidal, self-debasing thoughts. I know, believe me, I know.....This is where your intellect and your reliance on God has to kick in. You know that it is a temporary feeling and will soon go away and that you are probably doing something right with your life that Satan wants to destroy. Don"t overlook the need for a little anti-depressent as God gives men the knowledge of medicine to be of help to us. My prayer for you is that you will lay your burdens at the Cross and cling to the Master's hand to lift you up. I pray for a hedge of protection around you and the peace that passes understanding that only comes with a relationship with God. In Jesus name....

Oh no! If you had that urge, I would certainly want to know why, if I were you. In as much, I am praying that God will guide you to a good Christian counselor who can help you understand this thought. I pray you will not ever follow through with that urge! Walk away, if ever this thought comes to you again! Cry out, to God to take this from you as well. Prayer is powerful and I will be praying for you!

Also, understand that an imbalance in your body chemistry may be going on as well. So, either way, you need to seek medical help. I hope that you pray too as God will guide you through this, if you allow Him too!

God Bless you,
Gail

First of all let me say that no problem is so big that God cannot handle it for you. You may have been having a good day in your opinion, but it is never a good day when someone is thinking about taking their own life. I encourage you to pray and seek God's purpose for your life. The mere fact that you did not act on this thought tells me that God has great things in store for you, and He gave you the strength you needed at the moment the thought came into your mind to not act on it. I will be praying that the Lord speak to your heart and mind, and draw you close to Him, because it's in Him that we find our strength. God bless you!!!

Lovingly,
Virginia

Scary stuff. I've never felt like that. Maybe you should have a word with a professional - if you can find out what prompted this thought, you'll know better how to handle the situation. Good luck !!

Why in the world would you say such a thing??? Everyone in the world of **** has a purpose. Your purpose is so clear to me. Look into your inner self and think about why you were having that thought??? Maybe, your soul is letting you know how important you really are and what your final mission in life is. The blade you were thinking of is your push to do what you really want to do???

This thought comes from the pit of Hell. Remember that thoughts can be placed in our mind by Satan, himself. He can not read our minds, but he can make suggestions INTO our minds. I totally agree with Virginia B. God has good things for all people. But sometimes this world gets in the way of us SEEING those good things. Remember, that God loves you and satan hates you. The devil wants nothing good for you or your life and those in it. Surrender to God and he will guide your path.
Psa 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psa 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

If you follow God, you can not go wrong...ever. God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. He is calling out to you, that small still voice in the deepest part of you...that is God speaking....Listen.

I did. I will never regret ever.....My greatest Thanksgiving is surrendering my life to Jesus Christ, and living for him.

It could've just been a surge of depression brought on by a sudden leap or drop in hormones. If you continue to get this feeling, I'd seek counseling if you feel you need someone to talk to.
