Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I doubt it. The problem is the positive feedback element: as long as it's just a person and their imaginary friend, everything's fine.

But in no time you'll have megalomaniacs and con-men jumping up to tell you they know what God REALLY wants you to do (including giving lots of your money to them). Then you have hordes of grateful faithful queueing up to get the good news, and in next to no time they're off slaying the unbelievers next door.

Look at all the noble achievements man has made, the arts and sciences are just two attributes. Our compassion for one another never ceases to amaze me. I think if that is the face of g-d, then we are truely blessed

CCC 357 - Being in the image of God the human individual possesses the dignity of a person, who is not just something, but someone. He is capable of self-knowledge, of self-possession and of freely giving himself and entering into communion with other persons. And he is called by grace to a covenant with his Creator, to offer him a response of faith and love that no other creature can give in his stead.
