I think god is the collective soul of all of us. Not us, but what gives us life. The love of the world, the compassion.
That`s how I perceive Him.

GOD isnt in a man made building i asure you........
and you wont find HIM there waiting for you either...

Jesus said " My kingdom is within you "
Being born again and baptised by the Holy Ghost
God abides within....""WHAT?..No ye not that ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost? and he who defiles the temple shall God destroy !! ""

He said in another place " I will walk in them and talk in them i will be there God and they shall be my people "

and agian " What house would ye build me , where or wht could you put me in "

But it says and is written ,"But Christ as a son over HIS own HOUSE ; WHOSE HOUSE ARE WE, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end ""

and before you go with the forsake not the assembling thing....here is the assembly we are to assemble with >>>
BUT YE are come unto mount Sion , and unto the city of THE LIVING GOD , the heavenly Jerusalem , and to an innurmerable company of angels ,
TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY and THE CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN , which are WRITTEN in heaven , and to GOD the JUDGE of ALL , and to the SPIRITS of just men made perfect , And to JESUS the mediator of the new covenant , and to the blood of sprinkling , that SPEAKETH better things then that of Abel .
See ye refuse not HIM who speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused HIM that spake on earth ; much more shall we not escape , if we turn away from HIM that speaketh from Heaven; Whose Voice then shook the earth: but now HE hath promised saying , Yet once more I shake not the earth only , but also heaven.
And HIS WORD , Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken , as of things that are made , and that those things which cannot be shaken may remain, Wherefore WE recieving a kingdom which cannot be moved , let us have grace , whereby with reverence and godly fear ; for our GOD is a consuming fire .""

When I was really young, we lived in a tiny little village with a big church right in the centre next to the village green. Anyway, there was this little building next to the church where we went for Sunday School and the like, and in the main room there was this giant mural on the wall, made from children's handprints, of an old, bearded man with twinkling blue eyes and a Mona Lisa smile. I have no idea who made it or how old it was, but that image of God has stayed with me forever.

step 1. go to the woods, Birch based woods are ideal.
Step 2. find special red and white toadstool.
step 3. Lick it (but not to much or you will die and that would be shitty!)
Step 4. ask which ever god makes themselves present any question you like, don't expect a sane answer some of those gods are tricksy!

Seriously, I see the gods of my religion as solid beings who can't be in all places all the time but are there for me always even if I don't need them at that time.

God is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. He has sent the Holy spirit down to us to give us the ability to receive his love and to return it through faith and worship. As humans, we are not worthy to actually understand his almighty power and glory, but through His promise of eternal life, we can one day discover His true being in Heaven.

As a fabrication and an irrelevant concept but I have to admit it is an idea that has spawned a HUGE business empire with vested interests all around the world. Now THAT'S marketing - though, of course, the early marketing methods would probably be illegal these days.

I believe God is unitary and all-creating. I do not see God as interventionary in all of man's little travails. Some things we will just have to figure out ourselves. I hope if we are judged we get a passing grade.

I make an appointment on most occasions but if it's important then I just call on God's private cell number to let God know I'm coming over and then I walk on into the office. It's very nice.
