If you are referring to it within the context of marriage... then it is perfectly normal and ok with God....

There is nothing in the Bible about it.

MY opinion, however, is that the passage in which it talks about a husband and wife not depriving each other of sex (1 Corinthians 7) implies that the woman should be cared for as well. This applies to the female orgasm.

The female orgasm is HEALTHY.

There are some man-made doctrines against it (and also against having sex for pleasure), but nowhere in the Bible does it say that a husband and wife can't enjoy sex with each other. Hence why the doctrines are man-made.

No, having an orgasm is not wrong, the whole point of the pleasures of sex is so that men and women can at least tolerate each other while procreating. God knows and understands our relationships with each other. After the fall the enmity of the sexes was born, each of us blaming the other for the fall. In order for us to not completely wipe each other out, after all we need each other to continue, he had to make us want each other. This may sound really bad , but at our basest of thought, if I didn't have an orgasm with you, I would put a bounty on your head. As you would do the same to me.

Now how do you explain orgasms between 2 men, or 2 women, or by ones self or in groups. Wella as usual , everything good , man and woman can abuse.

I will say this, it is my sincere hope that I may share that physical and emotional congress with ONE woman for the rest of my life. God knows how much I abused the privledge of pleasure. So for now, nada, zip, untill I am blessed with that woman. ( God make it soon).

In the Boob (oops, I meant book -- a Freudian slip, of course ;o)> ) of Proverbs, God reveals that a man should find pleasure in his wife's breasts. Now, such pleasure has nothing to do with reproduction. And God is just and fair. So that must mean he also wants the woman to have pleasure in the marital union.

Proverbs 5:18-19 -- Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love.

Also,
1 Corinthians 7:3-5 -- Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

When Paul writes, "Do not deprive one another" he is not talking of reproduction.

The New Living Translation has for verse 3:
The husband should not deprive his wife of sexual intimacy, which is her right as a married woman, nor should the wife deprive her husband.

Again, this has nothing to do with reproduction, but is explicitly about sexual pleasure.

God is the one who gave the woman the sensory organs to feel pleasure in the sexual union. And therefore, it is not only right that she feel pleasure, but it is the husband's responsibility to give her that pleasure; as it is the wife's responsibility to please her husband.

Are you kidding ? to ensure the continuation of the species surely it is better if both male and female have an incentive to mate , or you could try telling God he made a mistake in designing women like this , supply detailed plans and explanation and I am sure God will realise the error and issue the modification !!!!
Cheers Pete
PS Come to think of it my wife must have been modified already !!!

I don't think it was invented until 1955. So the Bible is of little use here. Probably in the same area as computers and major league football - sinfulness - open to interpretation by grudge bearing followers....Chose your religious brand according to your psychological needs and you will be happy until death.

Enjoy, peace, whatever....

I can't believe you are being serious. Why on earth would it be wrong? God created human beings to enjoy life, not simply to keep the race going!

It's a GIFT. Read the Song of Solomon. It'll tell you everything you need to know about how God feels about sex.

I doubt the Bible writers even realized (or cared)
that women could have pleasure from sex. I don't remember seeing a word about it either way.
