no matter how many hours i sit and day dream, i never feel bored or tired of it, I just sometimes feel i have to stop it to do something i need to concentrate on...
Is it dangerous to daydream that much?
i just imagine things that have never happened, I sometimes imagine sad things hapeening to me and I cry for myself, something that if i think of logically, im sure it wont happen...
I sometimes think of funny things happening in my future and i laugh loudly,
or I day dream of happy things...
do i have to stop it?...cuz sometimes it makes me feel like im not totally awake...
It happens that sometimes I cant remember if i just imagined something or it really happened to me...but then this happens very rarely...
Do i have to stop it?
could it e a mental disorder?... I dont know whats wrong with me...

daydreaming is good for the mind but you shouldnt let it take over your life........ if your daydreaming when you dont want to and you cant help it then there may be a problem and you should go see a doctor. if you only do it when you want then thats fine and its a refresher for the mind
i hope this helped
best of luck

Mental disorders are serious conditions that often require medication and counseling, they interfere with a person's abiltiy to cope with life and relationships, and often have an organic cause.
Everyone daydreams, and some, especially young people who are bored may do so more than others. It isn't a mental illness, but may indicate a lack of motivation, boredom, or an inability to commit to real life situations. The key is that it seems to bother you that you day dream so much. So stop spending so much time just sitting around doing it. Your mind can only do one thing at once, so get active when dreams are crowding into your day.

I'm the same way. I am addicted to daydreaming & sleeping for the gratification of dreaming. I suffer from a mental disorder called 'manic depression' or bi-polar disorder and it is an easy way to cope with my life. I do not know if that is yours. Just be aware of it.

Fantasizing is not a mental disorder - and as such it would not be treated. It is however a personality trait which can interfere with your life. The most famous fantasist was the fictional character 'Walter Mitty'. A humourous story but with sinister undertones:

Daydreaming is a good thing as long as its positive. when you can daydream and it makes you feel good or laugh out loud that is good medicine (lucky you). feel privileged that you can do that. Negative daydreaming of ugly things can cause mental illness over a period of time, i should know i use to be a daydreamer as well.

check if it runs in the family. m y mum is the exact same but she drinks all day everyday mostly on her own and ive walked in the room when i was younger and found her crying or laughing, i think shes schizophrenic. im ok i think you just gotts take sheer responsibility and keep a strong mind over yourself and actions. i found if i act like my old accountancy teacher and pretend im him to an extent (good role model) then it keeps my spirits up and gives me a professional sence of confidence! find a role model!!!

If your 'day dreaming' prevents you from doing your usual, normal activities, then you'll need professional help..but if , it does not....then, theres nothing wrong with it! Thats somehow, a form of 'visualization' wherein one we'transport' ourselves into the realm of 'imagination'...where we either try to 'escape' reality or 'accomplish something seemingly unreachable goal ..........
