My waist seems a bit bigger than I remember, any ideas of how to get it back? Also what exercises should I do?

Depends how old you are. If you are around 15 your body is developing and changing even if you have stopped growing taller so have assumed that you have stopped growing altogether. I noticed my hips getting bigger at that age even though I was my adult height already.
Swimming is the best for aerobic and abdominal combined

1. Eat a normal health diet.

2. Exercise regularly.
