Ok, I'm 13 in a month and am about 10st ish. I'm 160cm. Usually I eat cereal, sandwiches, 2 apples and a normal dinner dish i.e. spag bol. I don't really do much exercise except light swimming on Monday mornings, vigourous swimming on Friday nights and P.E. 4 times a fortnight. If I eat 1 banana, 1/2 a sandwich and half my usual tea every day and do an hour on the stepper, do you think I could loose 2 stone by April? I won't overdo it, and will make sure I'm I'm going too extreme then I'll stop. I've done it for 2 days and lost 2 pounds.

i say this answer over and over again, and I don't see it working, and I don't see many believing it, but it's still true and I'll never stop saying it:

don't worry about that, it's really really not that important. just be healthy and love yourself.

Check your weight and height on a chart for your age group to find out what you should weigh. If you find you are over weight, and want to lose a few pounds, then check the number of calories you need to maintain and what you must subtract to lose. Generally reducing by 500 calories daily will result in a 1 pound weight loss weekly. That is reasonable. Exercising will increase the amount you lose slightly. You may need a book that lists calories of foods and then write them down to stay within your goals.

Yes, you are on the right track, but don't cut your calories down too far, or your body will be afraid that you are starving it and try to store as much calories as possible. Keep eating healthy portions and keep exercising moderately. Don't worry about what the scale says every day, just keep track of how you feel and how your clothes are fitting. Stay healthy!!

2 pounds in 2 days seems a little fast to lose weight, you might want to try losing 1 or 2 pounds a week so you don't gain it all back later on.

A stone is 14 pounds, right??? If you eat smart (low fat, sugar, salt) and get regular excercise (DAILY, 1-2 hours), you will be fit and trim

you're going to get sick because the amount of food you consume will not = your energy needed for the exercise
