This happened not to long ago. My went out for a little bit. I was baby sitting my younger brother and sister. all the doors were locked too. before my parents left the phone rang and i answered it, but no one answered back. then almost as soon as they left, the phone rang agian. agian, no one on the other end. i hung up and the phone rand agian. i didn't pick it up that time, but no one left a message. the phone would keep ringing but the person either wouldn't leave a message or the would just hang up after a few rings. i din't tell my parents, but i don't kno what to make of it. i really do not think it was a prank.

Sometimes there is a malfunction in the telephone system. I've had this happen too, and i don't think it was a prank either; there was just nobody on the line.

Tell your parents. It sounds weird. If this happens again you should try to get the number of the people calling you and report them or something.
