I was just reading a book on prophecy and it talked about a World leader coming on the scene soon that would.
1) Be very charismatic and a strong leader
2) Would gain the support of a large portion of the worlds population
3) Would be able to negotiate a peace between the Arabs and Israel
4) Would be able to arrange the rebuilding of the Jewish temple at the sight of Solomon's temple.
5) Would implement changes that would result in better conditions in the 3rd world.

I was going to put it in politics... wrong button... I will finish here then.
The only requirement of this peace and prosperity is that you must be willing to be tracked and must strictly follow his policies.

To those that said No... oh come one. Peace, free trade world wide maybe, better conditions in the third world. Charismatic, able to negotiate enemies to an agreement... sounds like the perfect leader on the World scene. A tatto or chip in the hand would be good it would make finding criminals so easy and stores could use that information to let you know about sales a week after you were there etc.

Hey there are some sharp ones on here! :-)
Anti Christ right out of Hal Lindseys book written 40 years ago... He was right on China becoming a super power (China couldn't even feed it's people when the book was written) and I love the part about Russia and Iran and his quoting authors from 80 years before that.

Thanks again

Many people believe that person exists today and will be arriving on the scene shortly. Some have said it's a Saudi Prince, others have said Ahmadinejead of Iran fits the bill. All I know is when the lines start forming to get the "chip" implanted, you wont see me there.
I think any Christian with an active "God Conscious" will know or it will be revealed what to do and what not to do.
see Psalm 188, vs 8,9
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

That is a description from Revelations of the anti-christ. And because of the way he starts out, (the things you mentioned), the unsaved will follow him because he will appear to be a great man. But a person who has been saved through Jesus Christ will be able to see through him, because of the the Bible and because Gods spirit will be with them.
