Hi Rev.,
The hot big bang states that there was a beginning, and it was hot. So this agrees with the Bible in Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth". I believe as time then went on, God then created plants, animals and eventually made man. So I have no general problem with the theory as long as it is recognized that is was of intelligent design, and the more we study, the more we will find it is the God of the Bible.

I do not support the theory. As you say the branches of Physics, Mathematics, and topological astronomy as well as other sciences are just to much to put it all together. Remember the big bang is just a Theory and not a fact! It cannot be proven as a fact! Even Hawkings can't get back to point zero, and he never will. The reason is he is looking for the beginning. So, let us now put the big bang on the shelve for a minuet and let us look at the expanse of the universe as always being there. Not everything that is in it. but an expanse that has always been. Now we have a starting point! an empty eternal expanse that has always been there. Everything in the expanse we see today has order This we call the universe. It continues to expand in the eternal expanse. everything follows all the rules of physics, and math. So just how did the three dimensional universe as we know it start? We know from Einstein's formula E=MC^2 that we can get energy from matter. We also know from Newton's law of physics that every action has an equal reaction. So, taking dynamic energy one could create everything and start the motion of everything created in the expanse with order. Is this logical? Yes! Is it true? It has to be because we continue to discover more about it using the laws of physics and mathematics. So this would open the biggest question of all, just who or what created it? This my friend I will leave up to you to decide.

Why does there need to be a big bang involved? Genesis 1:1 says 'in the begining God created the heaven and the earth', if there was a big bang, then it would be mentioned. Also, if you believe in God, how can you believe in a big bang? It just doesn't make sense. God created the Universe. He did not need a big bang to start him off or help him along the way. I seriously don't understand how anyone could believe that.

It is funny when true believers automatically and with absolutely no authority, add stuff to the bible.
So now god made the big bang. lol I fail to find that particular claim in the old KJV,
In one month science will announce another new discovery; how long will it take chriatians to claim god did that also?
All these unauthorized additions to the simplistic bible are humorous.
Of course, there was no bang at the time of the Big Bang, which is established science so far as we can discern.
There was no bang because there was...NO AIR!
It wasn't "big" because it was smaller than the smallest particle in the interior of the atom.
The "Big Bang" was a misnomer but it stuck and it works for a description of the event that is now recognized by everyone and , of course, has been added to the creation fantasy in the KJV by true believers which, as I have pointed out, is an unauthorized addition.
It may be understandable that true believers keep trying to ...'adjust'... the bible to make it less preposterous but these adjustments don't even fool the individuals who make them up!

Sure, Now, did the animals get "created" before or after man. It says it both ways in the first two chapters of Genesis. If you can get past that and still believe, you are intellectually deficient.

Or maybe if you believe in gods you are simply making stuff up without any supporting evidence and are now trying to mix it with real science (while simultaneously putting down atheists) to gain some semblance of credibility.

It's a possibility. Do you think you're the first person to think of this?
