In the world? Everest. Watch the movie "The Man Who Skied Down Everest". Then tell yourself you're not THAT obsessed.
Shoot for some of the tough ones at Jackson Hole, or if you're on the East Coast, go to Tuckerman's. you'll be in the 99% percentile, and anything harder will get you killed.
If that bums you out, or you're an adrenaline junkie, rent a couple of Warren Miller films. You'll have fun and at the end your legs won't be broken.
good luck

If it has a lift...it's not in this category.
Grand Teton in Wyoming is one of the hardest descents in the USA. There are bound to be others.
What you need to do is get familiar with backcountry areas in Alaska, British Columbia, New Zealand, Central Asia, and the Alps. There are tons of places that haven't ever been skied, so THE hardest might not have been done yet.
Tuckerman's is cake compared to some of the stuff out there. Not that Tux is easy...it's just one of the more user-friendly BC areas.

properly in case you like to circulate quickly and carve fairly severe high quality turns you in all probability choose an alpine or racing form ski. in case you're looking into getting in the terrain park you like a twin tip. they are getting very frequent here in u . s . a .. yet, I surely have a twin tip that i exploit everywhere in the mountain, in the park, in the bushes, packed runs, or maybe in the outdoor. yet so a procedures as producers circulate, K2 Salomon, Rossignol are your sturdy all mountain style of style and racing. yet as a procedures simply by fact the snowboarding is going here in North u . s . a ., it relatively is notably different. i admire snowboarding in the rockies and that they have got some candy mountains there yet there is a few snowboarding on the east coast as properly simply by fact the west coast. It relies upon the place you reside.

Put it this way, the toughest one hasnt been fou d yet, and hasnt been skiid yet. It is awaiting some lucky SOB in the middle of Alaska somewhere. Check this one out. This peak had never been skiid before this film was shot.

If you are looking for named runs, S&S Coulair at Jackson is pretty insane. My favorite little expert area is Tophers Trees at Winter Park. It may not be the most difficuly in the world, but you can surely scare the crap out of yourself in there.

well if your looking for a trail with a sign and a name then its not the hardest, the most challenging are out of bounds
if i had to choose one in bounds it would be a trail at deer valley called champion, covered in moguls, really steep, also where the olympics were a few years ago
the chutes in snowbird are also pretty hard

Agreed with Willie D. 100%....All the really crazy gnar is backcountry and ya gotta hike or skin for it unless you got the $ to drop on heliskiing.
That being said, Alaska and Europe have some really sick lift accessed stuff.
And Tuckerman's has no business on this list...C'mon, we hike tuck's like every couple weeks....it's barely even avy territory.

Tuckerman's Ravine at Mount Washington, NH. You will need to hike to get to it, but itis renowned as one of the most challenging places to ski in North America.
