How do you like your related females to be like? your mother,sister,wife,daughter... in this mod era, is it ok if she doesn't take scarf but dress nicely, or do you want her to cover strictly or will you leave the covering on her own wish? How do you want your lady to be?

Ok I'll answer for my husband who is Muslim and is Saudi. He expects all the women in his family(Sisters, nieces, me, sister in laws, and future daughters) to follow the Qur'an and strong Hadiths. He also expects us to cover everything on our bodies including our face and hands so as the wives of Muhammad(PBUH*) did. All the women in my husband's home minus my 2 year old niece cover their entire body when going outside. I have already decided that my daughters will be wearing the Abaya and Hijab when they turn 2. They will start wearing the Niqab when they turn 9 like all the women do in Saudi Arabia. My husband would be mad and disappointed if any of his women didn't cover like crows. I'm ok because we are in the USA and he is afraid for my safety. I also dress in sweatshirts and loose pants that don't show my figure while wearing hijab so he says I'm ok for now but I will be expected to cover up completely when we go home to his country.

well im not a guy, but i am a girl in a family. From experince i think the man should leave it up to his wife/daughter/mother/sister. It is his duty as a muslim to encourage it.
Personally, having been forced into hijab when i was 12 left me in a state of paranoia. 8 years later, i have accepted the hijab but im still paranoid.

Insha'Allah, my future wife will cover herself strictly. I like for her to command similar respect nuns get (they're pretty much well respected in New York). I wouldn't be an ogre about, but she'd understand I prefer her to cover herself, insha'Allah.

i am a woman but this is a naive question. No men will answer that it is okay if his female relatives are almost naked and uncovered or he has a weak imaan..
It is a man's duty to clothe his women and advice them to dress properly or he can ask them to not to leave the house.
A good believer whose faith is firm will not let his women to walk without proper hijab/jilbab etc.

They shouldn't care. There is something called mind freedom. Women should wear whatever they want and men should not force them to dress in a certain way.
I never wear revealing clothes because I feel shy but I think if I ever wanted to wear such clothes nobody has anything to do with me. I won't listen to anybody.

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.
Insha'Allah, I have told my daughter that I would prefer her to were the hijab and to dress modestly however, I leave the final decision to her (even though she is only 7 years of age) as she must not only learn to make good decisions ( we learn most often through having been allowed safe opportunities to pracitce the same) but , eventually, the choices she makes in her life will be her's to bear just as mine or yours will belong to us respectively.
Insha'Allah, I prefer her to wear the hijab, long sleeve shirts, skirts or dresses, a jacket and either her tights and/or pants under the dres or skirt. Insha'Allah, in most instances, my daughter chooses to dress in this manner on her own. Alhumdulillah!
Ma'a salaam.

Wll unfortunately for me, there is only one of my related females that comes close to covering up, and even she doesn't do it every day. most of them are older than me, so its kind of hard for me to influence that. now every opotunity I get(like when they tell me to go cut my hair) I always let them know I prefare to see them covered up.
