Even if I tried to follow everything in the Bible there is absolutely no way I could (I mean I don't really want to stone adulterers/homosexuals) so I might as well not try if I'm going to hell anyway.

Listen, you can kill, rape, pillage and plunder all you want and as long as you accept Jesus on your deathbed, you get a free ride.

It's us, law abiding, sweet athiests that will burn in hell because we don't believe in the tooth fairy.

(or so they would lead you to believe)

Ask for proof, you shall get none, just be yourself.

Being a Christian is what keeps you out of hell. Nothing else does. No one can follow everything that's in the Bible. There is no call for Christians to stone anybody. We operate under the New Testament as the guide for our behavior, not the Old Testament. You are supposed to love sinners, not throw rocks at them. We may not be very good at it, but that's how we're supposed to be.

Stoning is a tool of those involved in the Abramic law such as islam, the antithestis of Christs teaching. Becoming a Christian means one knows Jesus and learns to live by his Law. Too many misled people imagine that all the laws are theirs to follow, it isn't true.

You can't begin to follow the commandments in the Bible without the indwelling Holy Spirit of Christ.

try following the old testament ... its not about heaven or hell but about trying to make this world a better place.
by the way nether are mentioned in the entire old testament sure there are consequences to our actions but they are not the goals to which we try reach, rather more like outcomes of our actions that can affect more than just the pysical world

Until you can open your heart and mind to God, then for you, there probably isn't any point in becoming a Christian. And if the only reason that you would decide to be a Christian is because of fear, then there wouldn't be any point in it either.

The price was paid for all of your imperfection !!!
When Christ becomes our sustitute that means when the ABBA FATHER looks at us He sees the the blood applied to the doorposts of our heart and His death-judgement angel passes over us figuritively !!! So repent and get washed in the forgiveness of God !!! There is more hope for you than you realize !!!

Its the best way to validate vile, bogotted acts and opinions that I know of. For instance, the Catholic Bishop of Westminster this week make some bigotted statements to the press so vile that even the Tory party denounced them.

In Christ: no law = no sin = no death "sting".
That seems like a pretty good point to me.
Flush law is dung, for grace is "sufficient".
Only then can grace be of full "force" to you.
For the law makes grace "no more grace".

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
