No it's not a sin. A pig will eat just about anything. They'll even eat people if they get the chance. And because they roll around in the mud among other things, including the smell, the jews declared them unclean. THEY might think so, but I think they would think it was simply blasphemy just to own a pig...if you are jewish.

If you gave ham to a pig you would probably cause mad pig disease just like mad cow disease, feeding living cows dead cows...but no I don't think it's a sin but i wouldn't take the risk...
