Ice- DO NOT PUT BUTTER ON YOUR BURN!!!!! Ice or cold water will take the heat from your burn.Any oil based product like butter will actually keep the heat in & cause a scar or worse. Now put a peice of ICE on it and let it set there for a few,if the burn is real bad get to the hospital! PS Good luck with that.

Hold it under cold running water for at least 15 minutes. Then cover with a clean DRY dressing. DO NOT put anything greasy, oily or creamy on it. If it is a deep burn, seek medical help immediately.

Vitamin E...Open a capsule(stick a needle or pin in) and squeeze it on every 4 or 5 hours...Not the Vitamin E skin cream...
If it is a 3rd degree burn..the worst go to the hospital .

Ice. and regardless of what anyone says, never put any kind of greasy substance (like butter) on a burn-this locks in the heat.

Put toothpaste on it - not the gel, but the white one. It will help take the burn away. Depending on how bad it is, you may want to have it looked at.
