my friend told me about a dream he had and i was wondering what it meant,
he was walking on the beach and he seen jesus and jesus held his hands then the ground was very hot then it was very cold
does anyone have any idea what it could mean?

This is what his dream means. The Lord holding his hands represents that God will be near to him and guide him through trouble times to come. The ground turning hot represents the times and seasons which seem like fiery hot trials. The ground growing cold represents the times and seasons when times are harsh like a winter and when the love of people grows cold. But the hot and cold represent aspects of seasons when troubles arise.

Please do not tell your friends this Myself I dream about Jesus and each time [within year ] I went through a period of hell for many years I hope it will be the opposite for your friend

It sounds like your friend might be dying and he had a dream that Jesus met with him and that when he dies he will go to Heaven. Sorry that your friend might die.

I think that maybe he is having a very difficult time in his life. Things are going from one extreme to the other and he is looking to religion to help him find his way through it.
