HOT? Is horseradish normally Hot? should I have expected this?..that's the main reason I didn't take it back. I simply ate most of the insides on different bread...oh well...live and learn? Or?

YES it is HOT. I never order horseradish because of that. You should of expected it. If I remember correctly it did not use to be that hot, but it is NOW.

Remember it in the future. OUCH!!!

Horseradish is wonderful with roast beef but it does vary. I always ask for mine on the side. Then taste it for hotness and add only as much as I want.

Horseradish can be very extremely hot if you use too much of it, there are also different kinds of horseradish ranging from deli style to super hot!

if you would of added ketchup to that it would of taken the hottness out of the horseradish,,it would of turned into cocktail sauce which is made up of horseradish and ketchup,and is not hot!
