Hi there

Was wondering if anyone knows a site or page that has definitions for the meanings of terms like fossa , anastomosis , costal facet .

I know some of the basic ones like coronary which means a crown or circle.

I will appreciate anything shown as it will help in my anatomy revision and make things a bit more clearer for me.

Thankyou!

The best reference book is the Oxford English Dictionary. It gives the derivation of the words as well as their meanings.

In addition to others' suggestions, you could obtain and try to memorize a list of common Latin and Greek prefixes and suffixes like ecto-, endo-, -itis, and -osis. It really helps.
