Its great that you have such a clear idea of what you want to do. Be aware though that in most cases, careers with little or no training don't pay large amounts of money!
If you want to be a vet, then it's A levels, good grades and 5 or 6 years in university. Vets earn very good money.
Then you could be a veterinary nurse; this would be two years training, but doesn't pay very well.
A dog behaviourist, probably needs a degree in animal science and then a professional training course as a pet behaviourist. The best pet behaviourists earn good money, especially those very, very few who also become famous.

Don't give up though. You could start by looking for work experience at your local vet's practice. Talk with the vets and nurses and see if that is the life you want.

Lots of people would like maximum earnings with minimum effort - sadly it doesn't usually happen. Most of us have to choose between long trainings and lots of hard work, leading to good earning power and shorter, easier trainings leading to jobs which only provide for a modest life style.
But don't despair; doing a job you love for modest pay, is probably better than earning a lot of money doing a job which makes you miserable!
Follow the dream!

Working with dogs, making a lot of money, and not being a vet... good luck with that.

Vet techs don't make much and they require an associate's degree, usually. Kennel attendents don't make much more than minimum wage. Animal control officers start out relatively okay depending on the area (here, it's about $28K) and you just need a HS diploma. But consider what you're going to have to deal with every single day.

Do not think about a career with a dog if you just want to make money. Have you thought about handling?? A lot of the good handlers will bring in several thousand at a dog show.

Firstly, you shouldn't be in a career working with dogs if money is your first love! Secondly, almost all careers that i can think of that involves working with dogs, ie:- police, rspca, rehoming centres require qualifications of some kind in that field and that involves a lot of college work and sometimes, so much college work that you have to live in!

Vet is out if you don't want to go to school for a long time! My suggestions would be vet tech, master groomer, boarding kennel owner, professional trainer, or - what I think would be really cool - is a job with a school training dogs for the blind or some other companion assistant job!

Generally, careers with animals do not make a lot of money. Even most vets do not make all that much compared to what they spend on schooling.
