I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 10 months, he’s my first sexual partner and he’s been with 2 other girls. I’m thinking it’ll be easier if we both get tested for STD’s incase in the throws of passion we don't have any condoms or we don’t have them on hand so have to skip and oral etc.

About 2 weeks ago, again didn’t have any condoms and ended up having sex without, that has been the only time we haven't used protection and we’ve had unprotected oral quite a few times (please save the lecture, I already know and i'll get tested anyway). He’s used protection in the past and doesn’t have symptoms but I still wanna get tested otherwise I’m gonna be paranoid even though it’s really unlikely. I'm more worried about HIV really.

How do go about asking him, I’m REALLY worried he’s gonna be offended and take it the wrong way?!

I'm really strict with my birth control so i was thinking of saying "does it feel better with or without a condom".... (he'll say without no doubt) "well if you want we don't have to use them all the time if we get tested for STD first, just to be safe"

What ya think... I'm really worried!!

Offer him a deal: no condoms anymore if you both get tested. Obviosuly this only works if you have an alternative method of protection and if you are faithfull to each other.

Don't worry about offending him, it's always a good idea to make sure you're std free. Theres nothing that will spoil a momentous occasion like a wedding or birthday party like a good case of the clap. Tell him that you don't think he has an STD, but it's better to be safe than sorry. You can thank me when he tests positive for aids. (Just kidding)

Depending on how old he is will affect how you should ask him. Either way, if he will not go for the test if you ask him, you should seriously reconsider having sex with him.

Let's face it, condoms suck but you know what sucks more? STD's or not having sex. Tell him that you don't want an STD and you know that he doesn't want NO SEX.

Tell him that you would like to have him get a test, you will get tested also. If he doesn't want to go for a test then he won't be getting any more sex from you ;)

Ultimately, you better side on precaution. Just point blank ask him to take a test. But if you want to be more gentle, just state you concern and ask him to take one. Don't get caught up about him being offended, if he can DO THE DO......he should be mature about what you are asking him to do. Otherwise he is a kid and you ought not being dating him anyway. After I make my million I would be available. I should be easy to find.......I will be all over the news.worldwide

Straight talk i would say. STDs are a matter of life or death so you have to state your concerns. if he cares about you, he would agree for both of you to be tested, else don't take the risk. It can take time before you even realize you are actually infected, with reference to symptoms showing up and all that.

well i dont think that there is a way to offend him well that is if he loves you just tell him the truth and that you would feel more comfortable about having sex with him if you both got checked just to be safe i mean even though he doesnt have the symptoms of std's doesnt mean that he doesnt have them i mean i could be months even a year before the symptoms even appear just tell him straight up that you would like for both of you to get checked for std's i mean if you was my gf and i truely loved you i wouldnt hesitate. but thats me not your bf and i cant speak for him.

Yap, he should take it.but since u said he's been with 2 other girls, is he going test every other month? He needs to be faithful.Once u have the test together, tell him ig it's okay by him, you'd carry a 'spare' condom in your wallet so the skin-to-skin won't happen again.

if well presented, he should understand.

Well if it was me i would be happy, because i would want my GF also to take the test, i would say it really depends on the person but i wouldnt be offended.
