could we do an appeal for these kids?

Question

I previously posted a question regarding the children in 'care' institions in Bulgaria. I am keen to try to help in some way, however I am not experienced in this area.

Could we raise awareness and perhaps do a shoebox type appeal?

Or other ideas welcome, please.

Yes, you could. It's already being done by UNICEF.

You need to have a formal association with a credible organization serving children in Bulgaria, so that potential donors know that they money they give you is going to actually go to children.
