Regardless of what anyone thinks of him, no one can deny the fact that his name is both good and evil spoken of among all nations.

What I think about Joseph Smith, the founder of one of the most popular churches today is this:
He proclaimed to have been able to interpret some lost scriptures that somehow were found in Palmyra, New York. These scriptures made it all the way from the Middle East, where all True scriptures originated, and he found them.
Right!!!
Good luck on your search for other answers concerning this man.

interesting screen name.

He was imprisoned in the 1800s. But I don't think he would be imprisoned today. Only you, Mr. Jeffs.

He was a tricky bastage that wanted the fame and money that creating a religion could bring. He knew that what he taught was false, but he also knew that if he could convince enough people he was right he'd have a chance of making it big.

If he came along today and preached the same thing he'd be branded a dangerous cult leader and possibly wind up like Jim Jones or David Koresh.

Are you kidding? When he was murdered he was in jail for some kind of fraud charges or something to do with a printing press ..cant really remember..sorry..but he was so hated that alot of the townspeople got together, dragged him out of the prison and then killed him. He had some kind of lucky rock tied around his neck , too. Not a very lucky guy.

Galations1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

this should help you a little bit
