Praise is due when it is only truly due, it cannot be accepted when, as for yourself, your pride of your convertion has overcome the intent of your convertion. I am not sure why as to exactly you boast about it! It is of little importance if your Muslim or not.

Don't listen to people who get angry and call you bad names because that will just make you angry and you should never get angry over people who call you bad names because that's taking things in a bad way. You should always follow your beliefs and whenever someone does something to offend you just say that you don't feel comfortable around them/talking to them and forgive them. You should always try to take things in a positive way, and don't listen to people who try to discourage you, that will only make you feel bad.FORGIVE BUT DON'T NECESSARILY FORGET!
