My one year old she told me to day i said what u doin she said im not doing s-h-i-t HELP do i slap her or just talk to her or put her in the coner .was i right 4 how i correct her i put her in time out 4 five mins.

She doesn't really know what she is saying. I would tell the adults around her to clean up their potty mouths...otherwise she is going to become one too.
EDIT: After reading some of your questions I am surprised that is all your child says...that is, if you even have a child. Get a life!

Seriously...you should get a life. I have read your previous posts...you like to make things up don't ya? Pretty pathetic if ya ask me....So..you have a 1 year old...had a baby 3 days ago (like you would have time for Y!A with a newborn...), and you are maybe pregnant again...your not even supposed to be having sex that soon after you have a baby...next time...atleast do your research before you make stuff up. And also..to answer your question...a 1 year old doesn't know what they are saying, they repeat what they hear others say. You wouldn't really wanna put a 1 year old in time out...they don't understand stuff like that..and it would only be a minute for each year of their age. (( so 1 yr/old for 1 minute, 2 year old for 2 mins...etc...))

Don't slap her. Because she won't know why she is being slapped. The same thing goes for time outs she won't know why she is there. What is happening is you child has heard this word and has realized that it has some power. If you give her attention then you will be giving the word power. So ignore it.

I think you and your partner need to watch your potty mouths around you daughter!
You do not slap her or hit her or punish her. She has no idea at all what she said is a bad word. You shold have explained to her that it is not a nice word and that mommy and daddy might say it sometimes but they shouldn't and we are all going to watch our mouths from now on. Once she knows it is unacceptable behaviour you can give a time out for 1 minute. More than that and she ill get board and not understand why she is there. Explain why she is in time out when you put her in and when you take her out of there.

i agree watch what is being said around your child be it by you or other adults. As for time outs a minute per year is what the standard method is due to the fact small children do not have a long attention span. Dont slap the child that just teaches them that it is okay to hit not something any parent wants and she is too young to understand much of what you say if you choose to talk to her.

time out is one minute per year of age. you have to realize she is only 1 and she is just repeating things she has heard, she has no idea what it mean. tell her no, bad word, time out for 1 minute, and watch your mouth around her, and make sure other people are watching there mouth around her. kids that age repeat EVERYTHING they hear.
ADDED: i have just read some of you other questions, you are 17, single mother of a 3 day old, and a one year old too. i think you need to close your legs and watch your mouth cause im sure its you who is putting these words in your childs head. You need to stop having sex with random people of you are gonna have another baby soon. not to mention, why the hell are you having sex so soon after having a baby, 3 days, give me a break.

Well she has probably heard you ar another adult say it. Just completely ignore her because she will start saying it for attention, even if the attentionis time out.

you should have ignored it and figured out where she got it from. at 1 she didn't know what she was saying and just repeated something she heard someone else say.
