How do the majority of the anti-evolution/
anti-prosperity-of-the-Sciences/ anti-progress Christians justify their mind-clouding pride? Seems a contradiction in terms, doesn't it?

Yes, I know, not just the Christian folk, but all of us here and there... and Ev-rry-wheerrreee! (sorry, Beatles moment).

Oh, but it's not their pride, it's their god! Didn't you know that? They give God all the credit when things are right, and the devil all the blame when they are wrong. Humility is their big thing; pride is one of the seven deadly sins.

You didn't expect them to make sense, did you? Imagine . . . [that's my Beatles moment]

Yet science continues. It must be that those anti types are actually against God too since God gives us reasoning powers rather than instinct.

They are proud of their pride! We know it is the root of all evil but an unbeliever highly regards this sin

They either conveniently ignore it, or take pride in how humble they're being.

No-one said common sense was their strong suit, either.
