If you had to choose which would you pick and why?....A Chihuahua or Yorkie?

I like both! Yorkies are a little more high maintainance because they have to be groomed, but Chichis can be more aggressive. So it's 6 of one and half dozen of another. They are both great breeds.!!

I say Chihuahua... I've always wanted one and I know these people who have a dog that's half chihuahua and it's so sweet! Even though Chihuahuas can' be loud sometimes, they're so cute and plus I hear yorkie's can be some pretty mean dogs themselves, or not good with children anyway... And Chihuahua's are always cute, Yorkie's kind of grow out of their cuteness and look like old men... haha jkjk , they're still cute too! I like them both!

A Yorkie because they get along better with other dogs. Chihuahua's get along with other Chihuahua's but tend to be a bit aggressive toward other breeds. Yorkies do require more grooming but I enjoy combing their hair so that is not a big issue with me and it can be cut short if you don't want to mess with it.

Both are great dogs. Which one may depend a lot on your lifestyle and how much work you're willing to put into their care. Yorkies require much more attention because of their long hair. They require frequent grooming and much brushing., as well as special supplements to keep their long hair looking healthy. If you choose a long-hair Chihuahua, you are taking on the same task. However, a short-hair Chihuahua would require the least specialized care. Regardless of which you choose, make sure you are committed to giving it overwhelming love and attention, and that you're committed to giving it the kind of grooming and health attention it needs.

I don´t like either, but that not only depends on which you think is cuter, since the yorkie needs a lot more time on grooming. if you feel you can´t take the time, just get a chihuahua. They both look like rats anyway.

I would pick a Yorkie because I have never owned one. But if you are concerned with hair then go with the Chihuahua. However, they are very hyper and love to yip(bark) a lot.

A Chihuahua of course.They are the most loveable.I can see why its a hard decision.I have a special needs Chihuahua and I love her. Today, at the shelter I had a hard time not bringing home an old Chihuahua. They are just my favorites.
