Sheesh! You are kidding, right? Don't be silly.
Turkey is a Thanksgiving tradition, but what is served in and of itself has nothing whatsoever to do with spirituality.
I think you should have whatever you want, and Cornish Game Hen sounds just dandy to me. I think it is a pretty safe bet that God does not give a rat's rootie patootie what you eat for Thanksgiving.
So enjoy your game hen. Just don't forget to say grace, or God will get you for sure! (Kidding of course.)
Happy Thanksgiving!

No today's objective is to eat and be happy you have foods to eat. The Pilgrims had arrived late and there was no time to plant their seed. They were hungry. The Indians showed them foods around here to eat (that didn't grow in Europe) like sweet potatoes and squash. How to hunt turkeys and cook them. So they survived.
The ones that had landed in Vig. had all died the first winter, because those Indians did not help them.

Nope! Turkey has long been replaced by other meats, fish, pork, etc. There's even one place that serves a Turkey stuffed with a chicken and a duck.
