Yes, Eggs only need to be in a cool place not necessarily in the fridge. If they smell then they are off

Eggs shouldn't really be kept refrigerated anyway.

A good test is to put them in a bowl of water - if the pointy end is down and the round end rises upwards the egg is starting to go off but is still ok. If it doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl at all it's off!

And if the egg smells bad when you crack it open then you know it's off :o)

If you are putting them in cupcakes, I am assuming you are not going to use the eggs that have already been scrambled? If the egg is still in the shell, then it is fine - eggs should not be stored in the fridge anyway. If the raw eggs had been taken out the shell and left out, then throw away.

if they were left in a cool dry place then yes there ok hope the info below helps found it from food standards angency

Store eggs in a cool, dry place, ideally in the fridge.
Store eggs apart from other foods. It's a good idea to use your fridge's egg tray, if you have one, because this helps to keep eggs separate.
Don't use eggs after their 'Best before' date.
Don't use eggs with damaged shells, because dirt or bacteria might have got inside them.
Eat dishes containing eggs as soon as possible after you've prepared them, but if you're not planning to eat them straight away, cool them quickly and then keep them in the fridge.

Yes, the eggs should be left out of the fridge. You will notice in the shops they are not in the cold section, only in the cool section and sometime not even that. If you do want to keep them in the fridge don't forget to take them out a couple of hours before you need them.

I never keep eggs in the fridge as their porous shells absorb smell and tastes from other foods, keep then in a cool dry atmosphere, the box they come in is ideal , and they will kepp fresh for three to four days, that is of course if you buy fresh egs in the first place, always look for free range with the red tractor sign.

Eggs can be kept in an earthenware crock for as long as 2 weeks!

However, I tend to throw them after a week.

The definitive way to check the "freshness" of an egg is to place them in a deep bowl of water. If they sink they are OK.

When the egg starts to decompose, it produces gas, which makes the egg float in water.

Eggs should be kept cool. No need for refrigeration. They are not kept refrigerated in the supermarket or shops.
Think how long fridges have been around and how long mankind has been eating eggs.

as long as you did not boil them then it will be ok.

if you did boil it then throw it away.

but uncooked eggs do not need to be refrigerated. when you buy them they are not placed in the fridge. so as long as you eat it before the sell by date then its fine.

one way to find out if an egg is good to eat is place it into a long glass of cold water.
if the egg sinks to the bottom then its good but if it floats then its no good and will make you ill.

The eggs will be fine.
Supermarkets never store their eggs in fridges, normally near the bread aisle.
