i saw blood coming out of her it freaked me out .help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

r u serious???? Of course dogs have periods actually its called being in heat, sure there is a real name but thats what the general population calls it. Keep her away from male dogs and you may want to keep her outside for awhile till she is done. She is gonna bleed all over evrything

First of all, yes, the female dog (called a *****) does have a period or rather comes into heat twice a year. If you do not know anything about this, please take your dog to the vet and schedule her for a spaying ASAP!

Secondly, keep your female dog under complete supervision while in heat in order to avoid an unwanted pregnancy.

yes they do. and when they do that just means that they are ready to have babies. I have a dog thats in heat right now but my male dog has been fixed already.

Once every 6-7 months or so, yes, they do. You should get her spayed!!!!

It's not called period. Your female is in heat. Please make an appointment with your vet to have her spayed.

It's called going into "Heat",they have cycles,but not as heavy as humans.
