The symptons for thread worm are as stated in previous answers an itchy bottom,this becomes worse at night time as this is when the female lays her eggs,you may also notice them in your poo they are small white thread like in apperance (hence their name).To rid these you can buy medicaton over the counter which is one tablet that you take with water.

Apart from the itch, inspect your stool for little white thingies!
The worms will try to spread by going into a sort of crysalis stage and drop out with your poo.
There are plenty of proprietory remedies, best taken through prescription.
Worms can also be prevented! Make sure you eat plenty of veggies and herbs!

There are different kinds of worms, but itchy bum - especially at night and hunger are key symptoms of Threadworm which is really common in UK especially amongst children.

Everybody has at least one type of worms.

Many illness is related to worms, but very litle the ordodox doctors diagnostic it or really mention it, very sad.

scratching your *** all the time because its itchy most common in children whos hands are dirty and they put them in their mouths go to the chemist they will give you sachats of powder that you put in a drink hope that helps
