I hope they will be okay. With all the recent medications and shots that newborns and young children are being given, there have been numerous reports of children who will have life changing effects. One example is Jenny McCarthy's son. Her son was given a vaccine that caused him to be autistic. Weeks later she said 'the light's went out' in his eyes. There are many cases like this one.
Hopefully, this will not have some type of effect like Jenny McCarthy's case.

The initial reports were that there were no bleeding complications in any of the three babies, so they all should be fine. That, by the way, is normal. Heparin doses are difficult to regulate when used as it's supposed to be used, and people whose aPTT (the test used to monitor heparin's activity) go through the roof, they more often than not don't have excessive bleeding.

Unfortunate turn of phrase, what is normal?

Haven't heard the story about them, but I think you would find it hard to determine what is 'normal' in relation to humans.
If the babies have had some health scare I hope they will grow into healthy children.
