I know its just a free doodle programme but why has it not imroved in a decade. Ive just got Vista and its still the same !!!
Surley they could do something

replace it with paint .net

also, MS support and are involved in the project.. It's made by a university..

Because it's just along for the ride. Microsoft knows it's a gewgaw, their core business is operating systems and they're not interested in competing with those who make the serious illustration software, so why bother updating?

You can voice out your suggestions or comments to Microsoft.

But I think that the reason behind that is...
MS Paint is the basic tool in imaging and they want to maintain it.
