Another one that makes me laugh is when someone makes these mixed breed mutts and advertises that both parents are AKC registered! LOL Big deal , they are still breeding mutts. I guess when someone puts AKC in an ad, they think it makes them look better! LOL

I am not bashing anyone!! Did you read the question?! If people are foolish enough to believe and ad like this, then they got what they deserve. People need to research before they are sucked into a scam like this.

Unfortunately most people don't. I know I did for sure. I read many books on Chihuahua's and asked people about them who owned them. I wanted to know what I was really getting into before I took on a life.

My breeder actually supplied the book Chihuahua's for Dummies when you placed a deposit on one of his pups if you had never owned one before. I'm sure it was built into the total price I paid, but I thought that was an excellent idea too.

Now as for the AKC registered Pit bulls is it possible one of these fake registries has came up with a name with the initials AKC? I highly doubt it, but unfortunately I know a few of my fellow Canadians who have bought CKC register pups from the US thinking they are getting Canadian Kennel Club registered pups when it's in fact the crap Continental Kennel Club.

People really do need to do more research before they take on any pet be it dog, cat, bird or whatever.

Oh dear I see the Fairies have arrived.

Yes I do research a breed before I buy, although I would never buy from a newspaper. I would either go to a rescue or a reputable breeder. Where I live theres a brittany spaniel rescue about half an hour from my house and a cocker spaniel rescue about 2 hours from my house. (these are the breeds i own and would own again) Before I moved, I use to work at a cocker spaniel rescue , and almost every week a cocker pup was brought in. Why? Becasue people didnt research the breed before buying, they didnt have enough time and they wanted a perfect pup w/out doing any work.
AKC registered pit bulls thats a new one and a scam. whats next akc registered teacup pitadoodles?

AKC Pitbulls. That's interesting. I wonder how they got the AKC to make an exception just for them.
I saw someone on here they other day say they have a Mintier Pitcher. Now, I am not the spelling police, but one would think that if you were going to buy or adopt a dog, that you would at least know how to spell the breed. I cannot believe how many people think they have a Rottreiler, Wiemarunner or Doverman Pincher. I mean, come on people, at least do enough research about the breed that you have glanced at the name enough to know what the heck your breed is called!
Before I got my first dog, I did loads of research. I knew who bred them and why, I knew their temperaments, excercise requirements, health issues, etc. It never ceases to amaze me how many people just pick a dog and tell everyone that they have a Shitzoo.

That is the biggest thing that makes me laugh is when they say AKC registered or purebred. If they actually have documentation it's forged and that has been showing up a lot lately with AKC registrations. People really need to check this out before buying. That is funny though with the AKC registred Pit Bull. People will always prey on the ignorant.

Well at least AKC doesn't need to do an investigation on the pitbulls. They don't have any AKC privileges or registrations to pull.

You're in a bashing mode today?
You seam very knowledgeable about dogs, why don't you spend your time sharing your knowledge and wisdom with new owners who need a little bit of guidance instead of using cyberspace to let out your frustration. Frankly I don't care what's in the paper today it's no use to me to help me on my new journey with my pup.
