Turn the camera sideways or upside down – This technique has been used in more movies than you can imagine and still works as well or better than many CGI simulations. Need an actor to walk across the ceiling? Build a floor that looks like a ceiling and turn the camera upside down. Need a creature scuttling across the wall in defiance of gravity? Construct a floor that looks like a wall and turn the camera on its side.

Just like in the timeless movie Singing in the Rain.
The room is set on rotating axels and the camera and actor (you) are stationary.
It give the illusion that you are walking on the walls and ceiling, but you are actually just walking/dancing as the room turns around you.
Watch the movie, and you will get the idea. Good Luck.

they azre actually walking on the floor and when they go to edit the video they flip the image on the computer...that would mean the room would have to technically be built upside down so all the then that would be on a ceiling are now really on the floor and all the things that would be on the floor are now on the ceiling.

Couldn't you try just having the person walk on the floor, and "flipping" the scene or turn the camera upside down...but I'm assuming you already tried this.

Paint the floor white, put a light fixture on it, and hang the camera upside down while you walk in front of it.
