I'm 16, and I usually smoke bud every day, usually multiple times. I pretty much just smoke, but I do love acid and shrooms when it's around :). Now, I love Mary Jane. I wouldn't give it up for many things, and I show no signs of slowing down. Now my question is, for those adults who were like me at my age, when did you quit smoking if you did at all?

Maybe you should at least slow down. You will probably do better. Don't make the mistakes I did of continuously doing drugs instead of living life. I'm not saying don't ever smoke weed again since that probably won't happen but do you really need more shrooms and acid? How much more can you get out of it?

Listen I'm still paying the price now in terms of poor social skills and alienation from other people. When I cut it back to just an occasional joint from every drug I could get my hands on at age 24 I started doing a little better. It was a slow road though and I'm still not all the way there. Just something for you to consider.

Obviously you are thinking about it since you asked this question and that's a good sign. All the best to you.

I was like you at that age. I grew up in a small town where there was nothing else to do, but soon after I turned 20 and started college I outgrew it. As a kid I would get high because I was bored, then eventually I just became bored and stupid after smoking. I found that it wasn't as fun as it used to be, and it was just slowing me down. I will still smoke once in a while (every 3-4 months or so). On the other hand, the friends I grew up with are still partying like rock stars (one friend partied himself into being over 300 lbs, diabetic, and he looks 15 years older than he really is, and he's still not slowing down).

depends on their maturity. If they realize they need to get a job, find a wife/husband, and start a family, they will stop. If they just wanna party and forget they are getting old and wanna act like they are young, they will keep smokin. or, they might just love the feeling it gives them. BUT TO THOSE OF U SAYIN WEED IS BAD, U ARE WRONG. IT IS THE BEST THING GOD CREATED. IF ITS SO BAD, WHY DOES IT GROW FROM THE GROUND LIKE ROSES?

i started smoking weed at the age of 19 and stopped at the age of 26.I only smoked weed to help me sleep at night and never used any other drugs. I found that weed really causes memory loss, paranoia and low self esteem.Weed is a gateway drug and if you continue smoking weed, your body will get use to the"THC" and you will have to smoke more or better quality to feel the same effects. Not long from now you will go out and seek something stronger. Eventually end up dead somewhere!

Last time I smoked was when I was 20 years old. I'm now 42. I realized it wasn't all that fun, I didn't like feeling out of control, and it's illegal.

It is not an age thing at all. I think the more aches and pains we get the more we should take it up.
