:)
have no idea, i have had several prayer requests removed, even prayers i had as answers for other prayer requests...
i thought R & S was Religion and Spirituality...Religion, doesn´t that have some thing to do with prayers? Spirituality, don´t people pray to their spirits, or other deities? i really thought at one time that was what this place was for, but some people love to "report" as much as possible, because they love to hurt as many as they can....sad sad life for some.

As far as I know, it's against Yahoo! guidelines. That said, although I think that prayer is a complete waste of time (studies back this up), I don't report anyone for making such a request because I'm not all that into rules. I prefer to do what makes sense than be petty. I don't report such requests (I do, however, report spam), but I sometimes give an answer about how prayer doesn't work. I'm sure that there are some people who don't like that I do that -- probably the same people who make and answer prayer requests -- so I figure we're even.

I just had the same thing happen to me. And it doesn't make sense to me either! I think of violations as bad. Name calling is bad, mocking is bad, naked pictures are bad, but prayer? I was told that I was soliciting! Can you believe that? Solicitation and prayer linked together? I hope that this changes.

It's because they are asking for something. If you believe prayers are going to help, then it is a real thing. As real as money. If you ask for money you are in violation as well.

Y!A works in mysterious ways dear but you can read the Terms Of Service when you have a minute.
You will see that this place is for asking questions and getting answers....

Because this is a site for questions and answers not prayer requests.
Prayer requests are in violation of community guidelines.
I tend to just ignore them.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

We are here to share knowledge and to learn more how to be logical. This is an open forum but the prayers are most personal . I think this answers your question.

Because this is not the forum for that. This is "Answers" - not "Prayer"
There are uncountable R&S inpired Yahoo! Groups for prayer requests only. Join one of those.
I'm in several.
