1 (#2) can whole kernel corn
1 (#2) can cream style corn
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all together and put in a buttered casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Pudding should be lightly brown and firm in middle.

My can says it is a 14 3/4 oz. Will this work?

It's American sizing - not sure exactly how much that is, but I'd try using a regular size can of sweetcorn as that's about a cup and that sounds right for the recipe.

#2 refers to the size of the can.

Never saw this but I assume it means nothing. Perhaps the writer means there are two cans . In the method section it says to mix all ingredients together, so it must be safe to mix and bake. Just sounds like he or she was adding extra corn to creamed corn. I would try the recipe.

too me it looks like you making a cornbread type meal and it should be just regular size can
