Place eggs in pan of water, floating eggs are bad.
Bring to boil
boil 7 minutes

When the eggs are done boiling place them in sink with running cold water, til they are cooled.

We make our eggs with miracle whip and mustard only. Thats just how we like them.
As we speak my 6 year old is eatting 3rd egg.

Some people throw paprika on them.

good luck!

Hard boiled: Remove desired number of eggs from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Place eggs in a small sauce pan and add just enough water to completely cover eggs. (Note: the smaller the pan; the less room the eggs have to jump around and crack into each other).
Bring the water to a rolling boil. Covering the pan will lead to a quicker boil and is recommended.
Immediately reduce heat to simmer and remove the cover from the pan.
Let the eggs sit in the simmering water for 12 minutes. (11 minutes for medium eggs; 13 minutes extra-large eggs)
Carefully remove the pan from the stove top and place beneath the kitchen faucet. Run cool water into the pan for a minute until the water is cool to the touch. Give each egg a little whack to the side of the pan, so each egg has one or two cracks. Some will tell you that this lets pent-up sulphur escape. More practically, this allows a little steam to build between the cooked egg and its shell to make peeling easier. Let the eggs sit in the cool water for 2 to 5 minutes.
To peel : Place hard-boiled egg on a hard surface such as a cutting board. Roll the egg back and forth - applying a very slight amount of pressure. Remove the cracked shell beneath a faucet of cool running water.

TIP: not too little, but not too much venegar. Watch the mustard as well

If I remember correctly, you put the eggs in cold water enough to cover them. Wait for them to boil, then out a lid on or it might be to put a lid on before (thats the part I cant remember). But once it is at a boil you take the pot off the stove and let sit for about 12 minutes then take out of the water and you could also run cold water over them to stop the cooking process. I learned this from my Betty Crocker cook book, but I couldn't find it on here for you. I suggest trying to find a site for hard-boiled eggs. Sorry that I cant fully help you. But this is a little information for you. Maybe combined with someone else you will get the help you need.

I would say 15 minutes! If your not sure if there done the easiest way is to take an egg and spin it on the counter! a not cooked egg will spin slower and kinda wobbley while a fully cooked egg will spin fast! To know the difference spin one egg before you start boiling them then after boil spin another egg you will see t he difference! I make my deviled eggs with just mayo, a little mustard not to much don't weant that to over power the taste of it! a little salt and pepper! mix all together place them in the egg whites and sprinkle paprika for flavor and also for the color and presentation of the dish!

Time them for 15 minutes from when they reach a full boil. Then drain, shake the pan good, and run cold water over them and let them rest for 10 minutes.

To make stuffing them easier, put the filling in a plastic bag like a pastry bag, and snip a bit of a corner off. You can pipe the filling right in, and then throw the bag away. Easy cleanup!
