Jews are also forbidden to eat pork.
Christians say that one verse in the New Testament gives them the freedom to eat what they want, although there are some Christians who disagree and also do not eat pork. Like the Seventh Day Adventists and Eastern and Oriental Orthodox.
Hindus for the most part are vegetarian. I'm not sure if pork is strictly forbidden, but beef is.
I don't know if any other religions forbid pork.

The basic principle for the Muslim is that he obeys whatever Allaah enjoins upon him, and refrains from whatever He forbids him, whether the reason behind that is clear or not. “It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error” [Quran 33:36] He has forbidden you only the Maytah (dead animals), and blood, and the flesh of swine…”[Quran 2:173] “for that (pork) surely, is impure” [Quran 6:145] --------------------------------------... Scientific and medical research has also proven that the pig, among all other animals, is regarded as a carrier of germs that are harmful to the human body. Explaining all these harmful diseases in detail would take too long, but in brief we may list them as: parasitical diseases, bacterial diseases, viruses and so on. It is not permissible for a Muslim to consume it under any circumstances except in cases of necessity where a person’s life depends on eating it, such as in the case of starvation where a person fears that he is going to die, and he cannot find any other kind of food, based on the shar’i principle: “In cases of necessity, haraam things are permitted.”

One who can't eat pork is one who goes by the law and not by the freedom given by God. It was a dietary law of the Jews and God later told us that we are to consider everything God has made to be clean. Muslims follow the old Jewish law and Christians have been freed from the law.

That was the old testament dietary laws- read Acts 10:9-15. Pork was deemed ok ot eat by God on the new testament- and of course, the main reason was it had to be properly and thouroghly cooked- before the time of curing meat

Jewish people cannot eat pork and can only eat certain parts of other animals, like cattle, for instance. Christians can eat pork. We believe that when Christ returned and gave his ultimate commandment "Love one another as I have loved you", that undone many of the old testament rules, save for the 10 Commandments. I am no biblical scholar, so I am open to corrections!

No one is allowed to eat the flesh of swine. And Allah Knows best. The pig is considered unclean and unhealthy.Pig are a filthy and disgusting animals. I mean who would wanna debate that? The Jews and the Christians are not suppose to eat pork because it is written the the Torah or the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

Muslims, Jews, and some Christians (7th day adventists for example) don't eat pork because it's written in their holy books.

The pig is the only animal in the world possessing the outward symbol of kosher (split hooves), but not the inward symbol (chewing cud). The pig therefore represents that which is kosher in outward appearance, but is in fact unclean on the inside. This type of hypocrisy is described in the Talmud as one of the categories of behavior that God detests. For that moral reason, the pig is universally viewed as reprehensible to the Jew
