I'm thankful too for friends and family, and a warm place to live (well, as far as student accomodation goes!) and for food and drink, and above all that my home is reserved for me in heaven because of God's grace to me in Jesus.
Oh and I'm also thankful for being able to study, to use my God given mind to find out more about this his world. :)
May God be your comfort, and of all those who knew and loved your dad.

Like most of us my life is not without a few tribulations, but the blessings far outweigh them. I am thankful that God and Jesus stand with me against my enemies (Psalm 23) and I am thankful for all the people who stand bravely in the face of adversity to share their strength.
I'm glad to have a comfortable retirement and a very fun retirement job.
I am very thankful for my family, which includes a number of honorary members (foreign exchange students and close friends.)
I hope everyone has a wonderful day today and many more Happy Thanksgiving days.
God blessed you with your wonderful father, and I am thankful for his life and the lives of so many good people who have led the way for the rest of us.

Above all things, I am most thankful for the salvation provided by Jesus Christ for me, my wife and all seven of my children who have come to know and love Him!
I am thankful for my wife who is the woman every man wishes he had married because she is very giving and puts others before herself. She is the Proverbs 31 woman.
I am thankful that I have seven children who genuinely care for their parents and one another and that all of them have come to a saving relationship with the Lord. I am also thankful that one of my daughters has given us our first granddaughter, a very sweet and happy child who is being brought up in a home where Christ is honored, and has lots of aunts and uncles who will be sharing Christ with her as she grows up.
I am thankful that, though we don't have much and live month to month, we still have much more than many people in this country and the third world countries where it is sad to see people starving to death or cruelly treated and murdered by soldiers who are vicious and bloodthirsty simply because they have faith in Jesus Christ and want to let others know.
I am thankful that God in His great mercy is still reaching down to those who are lost and without hope while there is still time remaining prior to the day of judgment. ON THIS THANKSGIVING I HOPE THAT SOME WHO READ THIS WILL OPEN THEIR HEARTS TO THE GOSPEL SO FROM THIS THANKSGIVING ON THEY WILL HAVE THE VERY BEST REASON TO BE THANKFUL TO GOD.
