"But he himself was broken long before the sky was opened/ Forsaken, almost human, he sank beneath your wisdom like a stone." (words of Leonard Cohen)

In short, read the Gospel According to Mark. It will not take long at all. Jesus left his work as a carpenter to proclaim to his neighbors that the "Kingdom of God" was near. Some people followed him and listened to his teachings, but his words upset the religious authorities who were having a hard time of it to start with, since the Romans had all the power in that part of the world except what little they had delegated to the locals. Afraid he would stir up a revolt, alienate the population from them, that they would be blamed for his activities, the authorities decided he had best be eliminated. His followers all fled, he was put to death, laid in a tomb. When his female followers came to the tomb after the Sabbath (day of rest) it was empty. They reported an angel there told them he had "risen," but they did not understand. Later, over days or weeks, he appeared to his followers, who also did not exactly understand what had happened; however, he asked them to keep on spreading his message, which after some time they began to do. Part of the message is to the effect that what had just taken place was a "sign" from God that we could accept Jesus as a holy messenger who had spoken the truth, who would stand up for his followers at the "end of all things," whenever that might occur. In that one sees the origin of a new religion.

Jesus' mother was a teenage virgin. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. He was born in very poor and humble surroundings. The purpose of His life was to declare and fulfill the Gospel. That word means "good news." The good news is that God the Father forgives us sinners because His Son took the penalty for those sins on Himself. He fulfilled the Gospel message of the Bible by being tortured and killed and then by rising from death to life. He returned to heaven and promises to bring believers in this Gospel message to heaven to live forever.
As others have mentioned, reading the book of John would be a good place to start if you want to learn more.

Adam lost his Control of his Authority(not Totally) to satan. In this Creation (The Earth).
GOD gave Mankind (through Adam) 6,000 Years to Learn How to Rule and Reign.
Adam Blew It.

Jesus Christ (GOD Almighty) left HIS Glory (what Makes HIM, The Creator) in Heaven and Became a Man (Totally) to Sneak Into Hell and get that Control of Authority BACK--then give it to AnyOne Who Takes Jesus Up on HIS Salvation Plan.

Jesus was The First True "Secret Agent Man".

That's It!
In a NutShell!!!
From a Nut!
GOD's Nut!

Dit=================to!

Thanky Jesus!

Jesus

Born into the Jewish faith, his mother was Mary, her spouse was Joseph.
Was a carpenter before answering the call to proclaim the word of God.
At about 30 he gathered 12 disciples and preached and performed amazing acts of kindness and charity around Israel.
At around 33 was betrayed by one of his disciples who with coaxing of the Pharisees handed him over to the Romans, who accused him of sedition and sentenced him to death by crucifixion.
After carrying his own cross to Golgotha, he was crucified there between two criminals.
He died on the cross, was taken down and buried in a tomb.

On the third day, the Gospels proclaim he rose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. His return to judge the living and the dead is also a cornerstone of Christianity.

Born to Joseph and Mary in Galilee, was, is, and always will be God, died on a cross by crucifixion at the hands of the Romans and the Sanhedrin as propitiation for the sin of the world, was resurrected three days later back to God the Father, awaits the time of the 2nd coming to take the faithful to heaven, and all others will burn with Satan in hell for eternity.

Born in a stable.

There are about 20+ unmentioned years. The 3 years of His ministry is written in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, as well as an account of when He was about 12, and His beginnings on earth are covered until He was about 2 or 3.

If there are any stories about His life outside of what the Bible talks about, they are legend or myth. There are one or two historical accounts, but with no real detail, but not contrary to Biblical accounts.

His ministry consisted of teaching mostly about the Kingdom of God. He taught things which only a select few knew. Even then, those select few picked and chose what they wanted and skewed the rest. Jesus showed how God could accept anyone, regardless of culture, race or "breeding". In that regard, He "leveled the playing field."

He healed many people, in a great act of compassion as well as this showed proof as to Who He is. He fed many, also in an act of compassion. He even took the time to teach those who wanted to hear more, at times when His human body needed rest - also an act of compassion.

He taught His disciples how the Kingdom of God is supposed to be. He showed them how to treat others with patience and respect, that Gentiles are not unclean (Peter took a little more time to learn this, but finally he got it), but every bit as much in need of God as anyone.

There is a lot. Read the book of Mark or John.

To understand the story of Jesus we must first go way back to Genesis even, where prophecies were made of a great Messiah. Towards the end of the Old Testament this became more clear. Later, Mary, Joseph, and the fellow Jews, in the beginning of the New Testament, are praying for God to send His King. Two babies are born, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, (Jesus born in his manger). Then they grew up, and John baptised people and preached about God's King. Jesus was young, and he suprised even religious teachers now, but he decided to be baptised, even though he had never done a single sin. When John baptised him, he realised that Jesus was God's King. Jesus grew up, and left his earthly parents to begin his new life, where he was tempted by Satan and evil many times. But he got his disciples and preached in synagogues, and healed, and saved those who were possessed by evil spirits and demons, still wanting to tempt Jesus. The disciples at first were scared of Jesus' wonderful acts and miracles, as they thought he was just a man. But Jesus prayed and helped those suffering. The Pharises, a group of Jews who added to Moses' law, hated Jesus, as did the Romans. Soon, Jesus was out telling stories to uneducated people, and even Pharises who'd listen. But many hearts remained hard. Eventually, the disciples had saw Jesus shining with light, accompanied by Moses and Elijah. They began to realise who Jesus was now. Jesus told them not to tell anyone until after he was dead. Later, Jesus went into Jerusalem for Palm Sunday, on a donkey, as prophecy proclaimed he would. The peeople laid down palm trees for their King. Judas, a disciple of Jesus, was upset that he would not have a lot of money, because Jesus would not become an earthly king, so he betrayed Judas. After the Last Supper of bread and wine, they went out into the garden, where Jesus was arrested, put on trial, and crucified. But on Sunday he rose from the dead, to meet his followers. Then they understood what would happen; Jesus had died instead of us for our sins. He was taking our punishment instead, even though he was innocent! Then he returned to Heaven. One day, as the angels told the disciples, he will return to Earth as King. You must follow him and believe in him to enter Heaven!

"for God so loved Yogi (the world) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever would believe in Him will have everlasting life. John 3:16 He was blameless, yet they beat Him unrecognizable, put a crown of thorns on His head, and mocked Him- but He still said from the Cross- "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." He was the final atoning blood sacrifice for our sins- and is waiting for us to get right with Him- "seek me while I may be found"

Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, concieved by the Holy Spirit. He was the only begotton Son of the Living God. He lived and ministered unto us, showing us God, and then died a horrible death upon a old rugged cross to atone for the sins of the world. By atoning for our sins, He united us with our Heavenly Father and restored our relationship with God. He is the Saviour of the World.
