You can cover it with foil but coat the foil with butter or Pam spray so it doesn't stick. Then, take it off the last 15 minutes to crisp up the breast skin. I cover the ends of the drumsticks with foil to keep them from drying out.

Yes. If you do not cover the bird with foil, it will brown too quickly and may not cook correctly. You don't want the outside of your bird burnt and the dark meat raw. This has happened to me. Trust me on this.
When your are sure your turkey is almost done, like the last hour or so of cooking, remove the foil for browning.

Yeah, but it is not necessary. When covered with aluminum foil, the juices of the turkey are essentially cooking itself. The skin is moist and not crispy. Even though it might not look as brown, but the meat is moist.

Also, if cooked in a bag such as Reynold's bags, then the cooking time is cut down by a quarter of the time. The meat is also moist and juicy.

You don't have to cover the turkey with anything! If the breast part looks like it is browning too much, you could put some foil over that to keep it as moist as possible. Most turkeys are pre injected with moistening agents. Internal temp shoulld be 185 degrees when turkey is completely done! Good luck!

Just the wings, as they will dry out long before the rest of the bird is done. Some people cover the entire bird with foil and remover it the last hour or so for browning. That's a matter of choice.

Depends...my parents have always roasted a turkey in a brown bag...I smoke my turkeys. If the legs are not done, but the breast is then I will cover the breast with foil to keep it from drying out.

I've seen some recipes/cooks that recommend both. It is going to be a personal choice but I think that you should go uncovered unless you detect that the breast is drying out.
