How about opening an ebay store? I know people who do this and make a nice little profit. They buy things at deep discounts at outlet stores, or they buy antiques or vintage items and resell them on ebay. I think this is the best option for a way to make money at home. I sell some of my stuff on ebay from time to time, things I don't want anymore, and some of it, which I've used and enjoyed for a couple of years, actually sold for more than I paid for it!
