What are some ab exercises that target the lower abs?

there are no lower abdominals. muscles either contract as a whole or they do not contract at all. because of this it's physiologically impossible to target part of a muscle. to "see" the bottom portion of the abdominal wall with out flexing you need to decrease body fat levels to below average levels. and that comes from a low calorie diet based on whole foods and exercising at a high level of intensity to excite the resting metabolic rate.

A very difficult lower ab exercise is six-inches... you lay flat on the ground on your back and keep your legs together. Then you lift them off the ground, only 6 inches, making sure not to arch your back, and hold for 10-15 seconds, then bring them back down. Repeat the process as you wish.
