I tried this question a few minutes ago, but didn't get any answers so I'll try again. If I wanted to exercise this morning before thanksgiving, would it be better to do cardio or something with light weight? I'm a girl in my early teens, and I'm not trying to lose weight just stay healthy. Which would be better? thanks :)

I meant light weights like 2 pounds weights, that kind of thing.

Do both... the cardio will give your heart and lungs a workout while the weights will improve your muscles (Which gets your metabolism up, and makes everyday tasks easier.)
Do 30 minutes for each!

How about this: Since your weights are light, do your cardio with the weights. Also, remember to take a nice, brisk walk after that Thanksgiving dinner!

the combination of weight training and cardio is always optimum . the weights that you have are VERY light I would suggest trying to do reps close to 50 reps per exercise. any less than that at that weight and your muscles will be receiving minimal stimulation due to such a light load being placed on them. performing high reps will at least fatigue some of the slow twitch (endurance) muscle fibers

In a few minutes I'm getting on my stationary bike for a couple hours. I get off every 45 minutes and do a set with the weights (although mine are a bit heavier ;^)~ )

Do the cardio and get your heart rate up. It'll give you more energy for the day!

i think cardio would be better
and its good u r just trying 2 stay healthy b cuz some girls our age just want 2 b come sticks
