Do U belive in humanity/peace/love/lovalty/peaceful co existance of societes/religions Then why hate ISLAM?

I mean simply that Islam preaches love/respect/peace/social justice/equality for mankind/respect to every ones own belifs/allows every one to choose its religion/gives rules and regulations for co existance of all human socities and cultures/advaocates the opreesed and discourage the opressor then why other people have problem to accept it as peaceful religion. Islam is not what is shown on your TV and news if you ever feel the need to really understand what Islam is just recite the QURAN. And your heart will advocate that it is the truth all truth nothing less or more than truth.

There are some my brothers and sisters who said that ALLAH is deciver and decieve us in QURAN. My dear it is not the true approch recite it without having any malicious or malafide attention with hope to reach the truth then you will find the truth. More over some has said Science is more related to other religions. But what actually happened is that when muslims practised their religion practically they were great scientiss at the times when yourpe call them dark ages.There were many muslims who worked on anatomy,medicine,phylosophy,chemistry,astronomy,mathematics. But when we lost the way and left deviated from the path then on principles given actually by muslims this whole empire of science was built by other people. For examople just see that QURAN given the whole method/steps of human embryo development.Even the names given to diffrent stages has very much resemblance with todays investigation. There for a while I thought I hated Christianity, but I grew up a bit and have chose not to hate an entire religion for a few stupid people's comments/actions. I think the case may be just that we (as a Western "collective") don't understand Islam and aren't motivated to look into it. All we're being told is that that's one of those religions from *over there* where the terrorists come from. For some people, that's enough.

As for me, I haven't gotten around to looking into the Middle Eastern religions, but I am headed thattaway. ^.^ If those ideals are what Islam is made of, it sounds nice. For whatever reason I like the name Allah. It's kind of comforting, and while for now I'm okay in my chosen faith I have a very open mind.

But then agaaaain... I'm of the opinion that all gods are one god, we've just given different aspects different names. ^.^

Yes I do believe in those things and I don't hate Islam. There are people everywhere and in different religions who do not follow the true principles of that religion. Just as many Muslims are peaceful and don't like what the Islamic extremists are doing, Christians do not like what the KKK stands for and has done or attempts to do. (I think many KKK profess to be Christian, but they do not follow the teaching of Christ.) In the United States, we have managed to squelch the KKK forthe most part. The peaceful Muslims need to stand up and in the same way squelch the extemist Muslims who are killing for their religion.

I think the reason why a lot of people hate Islam is because of two beliefs that seem to run rampant all over our TV's:

1. Martyrdom--No one in the western world believes that martyrdom has anything to do with killing other people. When we refer to someone in our past becoming a martyr, we are referring to an individual who died because of his beliefs AND was so non-violent that they would not even raise a finger to protect themselves from others. The way martyrdom is depicted on TV is that it involves taking lives and the western world refers to this kind of an act as revenge or murder, not being a martyr.

Jihad--In the western world, it is considered dispicable to ever claim "Divine sanction" for something as evil as war. There is no such thing as "Holy War", because war in its very basic essence is evil.

Islam frightens a lot of people in the western world because it appears as if it sanctions both of these above beliefs. The western world looks at both of these above beliefs (let alone their actual actions) to be rooted in evil. I'm sure that if the Islamic leaders throughout the world came out publically and declared that Jihad and martyrdom are evil and not part of their religion, then the western world would be a lot warmer towards Islam.

Islam is hated for the projection of hate onto others. The infidels are the suicide bombers themselves. I personally do not "hate" Islam, but as a collective, one bad apple spoils the whole bunch, is the mentality of the west!

I have read the Koran. I read where Allah is the great deceiver. Why would anyone believe in a god who deceives. How would you know when he is deceiving you. My God deceives no-one.
