If you speak in tongues then shouldn't you start practicing it from today? To spend eternity there and speak will take lot of practice initially.

Kind of big assumption on your part that English is the only language Christians speak.

Not all Christians speak in tongues. As I understand it, there are very few who do so.
I don't think you need to worry about them.
What do you want them to practice? English or "speaking in tongues"?
Your question does not make that clear.

From what I understand, speaking in tongues is not something that you have to practice, like learning to play the piano, lol.

I'm having a hard time trying
to understand what you mean?
Noone will speak an earthly
language in heaven. The Lord
has his own language that may
or may not be spoken.
I kind of doubt it tho because
I believe it will be done with
thought transferance. There
will be no need for language,
we will automatically know.
Remember, we will be spirit
as HE is spirit.

Speaking in tongues sounds like Hebrew. It is useless without the interpretation of the words given in the tongue you can understand. It is know as the language given of the angels. Communication has no meaning if it cannot be understood. In heaven there will be only one language that is understood by all. In Heaven, communication is done with the mind of consciousness so you need not worry. Where ever you go, you will understand and be understood. Not understanding would be hell, would it not? :)

Acts 2:2-4, "2 and all of sudden there exceeded off from heaven a noise purely like that of a rushing stiff breeze, and it crammed the entire abode wherein they have been sitting.  And tongues as though of hearth grew to grow to be seen to them and have been dispensed approximately, and one sat upon one and all of them,  and that all of them grew to grow to be crammed with holy spirit and started to communicate with diverse tongues, purely simply by fact the spirit grew to become into granting them to make utterance" God did this so his message must be preached to each tribe, united states and tongue. the will for it relatively is long gone because now maximum of people ought to communicate diverse languages lots must be translated. So the respond is, no longer ANYMORE! If somebody says they might; ask them what they are asserting. maximum individuals won't understand; so what's the reason in the back of it? to coach off? they might desire to absorb juggling rather.

What difference does it make. Even English is "tongues" to many nationalities. English would have been tongues in the lands of the New Testament where the occurrence originated.
As long as God understands us, and He understands all languages, that's really all that matters.

Speaking in tongues is one of the "gifts of the Spirit". It is called the heavenly language. You do not do this out of your own intellect or intelligence but rather as you are given utterance by the Holy Spirit. It is direct communication between your spirit and your Creator.

Last time I was in Heaven..No one needed to speak. Everyone could read everyone elses mind. Obviously I was kicked out and told to come back when I was more pure.
